You can visit the incredible Cathedral of Zamora, with an interesting vault and the southern façade where you will see the Bishop´s gate, and if you head inside you can see interesting art collections.
The Castle is an impressive sight to see, with its very own moat, entrance gate and pentagonal tower. You can also see the Church of San Claudio de Olivares in its surroundings
You can find many historic monuments on both sides of the Street of Rua and explore the medieval part of the city.
Take a stroll along the beautiful stone bridge that crosses the river.
There are also many museums which mostly relate to religious Art that can be visited, such as Museum Baltasar Lobo and Museum Catedralicio among others.
Why not visit Toro´s town, just 25-minute drive away and see another local interesting town full of culture, and don't miss seeing its Bull monument dating back to the Iron Ages.

Travel
The city is pedestrianised so you can easily explore on foot at your own leisure as everything is accessible by walking.
There are two taxi companies in the city, enabling you to get around town if you’re tired of walking.
Travelling by car is fairly easy in Zamora as you can travel at your own pace, however there are some areas with many car free zones in the city. It does have well-connected roads leading to local towns, villages, and other cities nearby, with the option of also going to Portugal.
There is a good reliable bus service where you can get a bus around the City and surrounding areas, such as Madrid, Barcelona, and other places.
There is a train station with frequent services running throughout the day, and it includes services from the high-speed AVE train.
