History

The Guesthouse was originally called Villa Ada, a name deriving from the noble owner Ada Morpurgo.
The property was originally considered a meeting point for the nobility of the time, trained in the field of classical music and dance. In fact, performances with instruments and orchestras were frequently held here.

The Congregation of the Poor Daughters of Mary Most Holy Crowned Perpetual Adorers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus bought the structure in the 1950s, where they began, up to the 1970s, to welcome minors in precarious physical and family situations throughout the year, but especially in summer, as the benefits of the sea and the climate are greater.

Subsequently, following the directives of the regional regulations, and after an internal restructuring, the property took the name of Casa al Mare dell'Incoronata to maintain the uniqueness of the place, in which the nuns work there with a simple, hospitable, open and welcoming presence, according to the style that distinguishes them.

Food & beverage

The House offers its guests a restaurant, located in the center of the property, with a suggestive sea view.
The cuisine is traditional, and varies daily, according to the seasonality of the local raw materials.

The House offers B&B, half board and full board treatments in winter. During the Summer the treatments offered are only half board and full board.

Lunch and dinner are served directly by the nuns and lay staff, the menu has a double choice of first and second courses based on the daily recipes.
 

Grounds & Gardens

The property offers large and magnificent outdoor spaces.

1.The terrace overlooking the sea: the perfect place to relax in the shade, or under the sun, overlooking the sea.

2.Garden Beach: Solarium with sea view,beach umbrellas, tables and children's play area.
The perfect space for the little ones to play and organize outdoor events.

3.Bike Parking: for those wishing to fully enjoy the landscapes surrounding the house, the structure offers bicycles.

4.The garden of olive trees: for those wishing to immerse themselves in meditation, reflection, in the tranquility of a unique landscape.

Other facilities

The property offers its guests a beach that extends to the slopes of the lush hill on which the Incoronata Castle stands.

Easily accessible thanks to a path under the thick vegetation of the Ligurian promontory, it is fortunate to have one of the cleanest and clearest seas in the whole region: a sea awarded every year with the recognition of the Blue Flag.

The beach is equipped with everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable holiday, such as the lifeguard service, always present and available; umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers; the disabled bathroom perfectly equipped.
Included in the full board and half board rate with two deck chairs and one umbrella per room. The sunbeds will have a daily surcharge to be paid directly on the beach.

Inside the House there is a chapel, where every morning a priest celebrates Holy Mass which you can attend, if you wish.

In the Incoronata's park there is also a grotto dedicated to the Lady of Lourdes, where the faithful can gather in prayer and spiritual meditation.
