Possessing a magnificent panoramic position overlooking Lake Albano, the town is in the heart of the Roman Castles area (Castelli Romani). This section encompasses the Alban hills, home to thirteen hilltop towns that have been popular retreats for centuries.

By car: From Rome take route 7 (Via Appia) towards Albano. At km 23.300 there is a stoplight. Turn right and after 200 m there will be signs indicating “Casa Nostra.”  By train: Get off at Villetta (a stop near Castel Gandolfo). It is a ten-minute walk to the casa. Or get off at Rome (any station) and take the underground to “Anagnina” stop. Exit and take the AcoTral bus to Velletri and ask to be dropped off at the “Ercolano” stop. From there take the alley on the left and after 200m there will be a sign to the casa.
