Casa di Accoglienza Sacri Cuori, Passaggio di Bettona

History

The Casa dei Sacri Cuori, located in Passaggio di Bettona, in Balena Street number 4, was born as a response to a desire of the founder of the Congregation of the Religious of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the venerable Mons. Francesco Saverio Petagna, who in communicating the reasons for the foundation to the Holy See (in March 1871) expressed himself in this way: "When God blessed its development, this community would take care of the poor, the infirm and those who would like to retire to their homes for a few days of spiritual exercises". The property wants to be a point of reference for individuals or groups who wish to spend a few days of spiritual life near Assisi. The Religious of the Sacred Hearts, managers of the house, also make it available for young groups or families who wish to stay in self-management.

Food & beverage

The House also offers B&B, half board and full board.
Usually the Sisters agree directly with their guests about meal times, but in principle, breakfast starts at 7AM until 9AM, lunch is served at 1PM and dinner at 7.30/8PM, in the refectory. 

Grounds & Gardens

The Religious Guesthouse is surrounded by a large garden accessible to the guests.
Nearby (50m) municipal playground for children, bowling pitch,skating rink.
For hikers there are bike or pedestrian paths that allow you to reach Bettona (PG), about 5 km away.

Other facilities

The House is equipped with Wi-Fi, both in the common areas and in the rooms, and a common room equipped with television and piano.
The House is also equipped with a small chapel where you can stop to pray and meditate.
