Located on a hill near the town of Clervaux, the abbey presents itself as an isolated place, conducive to prayer and silence. Great is the joy of being able to welcome you there according to the tradition of Benedictine hospitality!
The monastic community welcomes you. She wants her hostel to truly be a place of rest, spiritual retreat and personal prayer for you.
Silence marks the climate of the monastery. It is therefore important to speak in a moderate voice in the hallways and bedrooms; also, to reduce the intensity of sound devices. In addition, like the monks, you will like to remain completely silent during the night after Compline, from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The spirit of this welcome is that of respect for each person's religious convictions. Also, the context of community monastic life requires the concern of a certain participation in the prayers made in the church.
