Overview

The guest house is open year-round to all guests and from October to June to male students of the University of Venice.

9 single, 30 double and 9 triple rooms, each with private bath, telephone, TV and air conditioning. During the summer (June to September) there are 30 beds in single, double and multiple rooms (4-6 beds) with private bath which are reserved for groups.


History

The entrance of the house is positioned between two churches, Santa Maria della Visitazione and the Church of the Gesuati. The latter church, also known as Santa Maria del Rosari, was designed by Massari and built by the Dominican Order in 1726-36. It has a massive façade and a richly adorned interior, decorated by renowned artists including Piazzetta, Ricci, Tintoretto and Tiepolo who also painted the ceiling frescoes.

Food & beverage

Only breakfast is included with the lodging but the restaurant “San Trovaso” which is located on the premises welcomes all guests.

Other facilities

Towels and linens are supplied. There are a chapel, several common rooms, TV room and a conference hall. On the day of departure, guests may leave their baggage at the house until the reception desk closes.
