Overview

There are two types of accommodation:
1) Inside the carmél: Hospitality is mainly for spiritual retreats. Men and women are welcome in 4 double and 4 single rooms. Baths are shared; each room has its own sink.
2) Annexed to the carmél: A guest house is available for men, women, families and groups. It can host 12 people in single and double rooms, plus a small dorm. Only one room has a private bath. There are a kitchen and dining room that guests may use.

History

The original monastery was founded in 1625 but the nuns were expelled in 1792. Although they returned a few years later, a fire forced them to leave once again. In 1977, they moved to their present location.
