Overview

Managed by the Figlie della Carita` di San Vincenzo de Paoli, Casa Maria Immacolata is located in the very centre of Rome, 15 minutes from the Basilica di San Pietro, Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Navona.

The property welcomes individuals, religious and non-religious, families and groups: anyone looking for a peaceful stay.
It offers 75 rooms, all with private bathroom, in a completely renovated environment.


The keys of the entrance door must be returned every time you leave the property.

The door is closed from midnight to 6.30am.

The evening return to the Guesthouse must be before midnight, except for special periods of the year, such as the night of December 24th and December 31st where the return is expected by 1AM.

Animals not allowed. 

Bookings to this property needs to be approved.

History

The origin of the Congregation dates back to 1633, when St. Luisa de Marillac and St. Vincent de 'Paoli gathered a group of young people eager to give themselves to God for a life of charity. They therefore created a highly innovative lifestyle in the Church, not bound by rigid structures.

 

Food & beverage

Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served every morning until 9.30AM.
Lunch and dinner are also available, if booked in advance, at a cost of 15 euros per person, per meal (drinks are included). Children under 10 years of age pay 10 euros per meal.

Lunch is served at 1PM and dinner at 7.30PM in the dining room on the ground floor.

Other facilities

There are various environments and services offered by the Guesthouse. Among them you will find:

-Chapel: it is located on the second floor and is available to guests every day from 7.30 AM onwards. Priests who want to celebrate are requested to bring the alb (dawn). Guests can freely participate in the celebrations and moments of prayer organized by the Community.

-Computer Room: located on the first floor, it is available to guests until 11PM, and offers 4 computers with internet connection, printer and photocopier.

-Meeting rooms: located on various floors of the house, they can accommodate from 10 to 25 people.

-Conference room: on the first floor, it can accommodate up to 100 people, and is equipped with wi-fi, amplification, projection and recording system and basic system for simultaneous translation. The armchairs can be arranged differently according to the various needs of the group using the room.

-Restaurant: on the ground floor. Here breakfast is served from 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM, and meals on request. Lunch at 1.00PM, dinner at 7.30PM.

-Luggage room: available to guests who need to leave the bathrooms after check-out time.

The monastery is in a great location and although the rooms are simple, they are clean and comfortable. The sisters even loaned us a fan to cope with the unusually high temperatures . We had a great time in Rome, thank you for your kind hospitality.
