Overview

The shrine of Madonna dell'Ambro was originally a small chapel built in the 11th century after the apparition of Mary to a local girl. As the fame of the shrine grew, the chapel became a church. In the 17th century, a shrine and a Capuchin convent were built around the original chapel.

30 beds in double and quadruple rooms, each with a private bath. Towels and linens are supplied. Lodging with just breakfast is not available.
Note: The complex is open from May to October. In the winter months when the area receives heavy snowfall, the complex is only open on Sunday.
