Looking for a peaceful place for a few days? The N.D. de la Justice spiritual center is on the edge of the Soignes forest to take a break and recharge your batteries.
Located on the outskirts of Brussels, it also houses the grotto where pilgrimages are organized. A quiet place, located in a peaceful and green setting. The house is in silence and the garden, with spaces to collect it.
Bookings with this vendor will need to be approved.
The sisters of La Retraite built a center in 1960 (“La Retraite”), whose healing and training activities have never ceased since.
In 1994, this center became the property of the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels and resumed its former name of N.D. de la Justice. It is led by a team of employees and volunteers where many lay people have joined the Sisters of the Holy Heart of Mary in partnership with diocesan services.
Meals are generally taken in silence and with background music, depending on the type of entertainment going on in the house.
Breakfast is at variable times (between 7:45 a.m. and 9 a.m.) and self-service, as well as afternoon tea (between 3:45 p.m. and 5 p.m.).
Lunch (hot lunch) is served at 12:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. The dining room is accessible at any time of the day, to have a drink (coffee, tea) or eat some fruit.
Liturgy: Depending on the retreat a Eucharist or a service will be offered. The three chapels are available at all times for personal prayer.
