Overview

The Grand Couvent of Gramat is located 10 km from the Rocamadour Sanctuary, and in the center of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park.

Its 10 acres park and its gardens are conducive to dining and peace. They allow you to relax in a relaxing place, where the well-being of visitors is the priority of the sisters and the staff teams.

Between limestone cliffs and humid valleys, it is easy to change the natural environment by making only a few kilometers. The Célé, Lot, Dordogne, Ouysse and Alzou valleys offer the possibility of numerous aquatic activities, while the high viewpoints of Mont St-Cyr, Rocamadour and Causse allow to forget the daily hassles, for a short or long stay.

You never tire of visiting the Lot, with this in mind, you will always be welcome at the Grand Couvent de Gramat.

We had a wonderful time at this amazing convent. The buildings and the grounds were beautiful and well cared for. The atmosphere was very peaceful and serene. You could take strolls around the grounds, visit the gift boutique, read in the library or visit the art exposition in one of the side buildings. It was all equally marvellous! We had breakfast and dinner at the convent as well. The meals were simple but delicious and plentiful, served with bread and a local wine. I highly recommend it!
