Astor College, Fitzrovia, London

A clean and tidy room that was perfect as a base for a short trip to London. The bathroom was great, especially the shower! It was quite warm in the building. I would have appreciated a tea tray/kettle. I had to leave the building and go to a nearby cafe for a drink which was a little inconvenient. A bag drop off facility would be a welcome additional service. But overall a good place to stay in a convenient location for central London.

Very adequate accommodation. Be aware that there is no air con because this building has been built in the expectation of C20 English weather, with no account paid to climate change. Perfectly pleasant in summer rain and, I'm sure , in winter. A decent kitchen. Staff seem a bit more interested in talking to each other than opening doors for disabled visitors when the access buttons don't work.

For the price and the location was very good. Could have done with a better mattress and pillow, but was only there for a night so not a problem. Would be good on the website to explain what you get in the room such as no shampoo. Would stay again though as the service to get the room was very good, the room itself was fine for a single night and the price was very good.

The hallways of Astor College were so stifling hot that during such warm weather, I'd recommend installing fans to cool them down. It was very unhealthy. It would have been helpful to have a bathmat and a hand towel as well as simply a single bath towel.

Astor College proved very convenient for all my requirements except perhaps Wi-Fi I never really got the hang of that. I would use Astor again for a short stay but a longer stay would be difficult without more easily accessed and secure WiFi.

It's convenient to get to the Oxford Street. It's safe and clean in the room and kitchen. Because of the construction outside,it's a little noisy in daily time. That's OK to me.

Lovely room with a double bed. Very clean, lots of space and would absolutely stay here again. Good location for central London and excellent value for money.

Great location. Room very clean. Quiet. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner but that was down to guests rather than cleaners!
