菲尼斯特雷朝圣之路

Often carried out as an add-on extension upon completion of the Camino de Santiago, pilgrims can journey further west to the Atlantic Coast. 

Camino de Finisterre is unique in that it starts, rather than concludes at the Cathedral in Santiago and its short distance allows visitors to fully appreciate the scenery and peacefulness of the route, with only a small percentage of Pilgrims to Santiago, continuing to Finisterre. 

This Camino has two possible finishing points, Fisterra and Muxia, both fishing ports on the Galician coast. The Cape of Finisterre, on which sits Fisterra, can be reached in 90km. And was considered by the Romans to be “The end of the known world”. The lighthouse on the Cape marks the end point of the Camino although many pilgrims choose to continue along the coast to Muxia,another seaside town, a further 29km away.
