The Golden Ball is a traditional 16th Century thatched Inn, situated in the peaceful village of Boxworth. We are just one mile from junction 28 of the A14, which is eight miles West of Cambridge and a similar distance from the market town of St Ives.
The hotel annex offers 11 modern en-suite rooms, all of which offer rural views, Freeview TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities and free access to Wi-Fi throughout the property. A full breakfast is served each morning in the restaurant.
We are open daily for lunch and dinner providing a cosy and informal dining experience in the main bar or restaurant. Our a la carte menu selection is wide and varied, alongside a number of daily special dishes. We offer a comprehensive range of wines (many by the glass), three real ales, and a full bar.
