该建筑建于20世纪50年代，最初是圣方济各·沙雷献主会的神学院，后来成为现今该会的普世中心。该中心兼具两者的优势，坐落在宽敞的公园之中，却又靠近市中心。无论是乘坐私人交通工具还是公共交通工具，都可轻松抵达。一条可追溯至圣方济各时代的古老道路是通往市中心的捷径（十分钟）。献主会委托一家平信徒公司进行管理，在保留原有氛围的同时，对建筑进行了修复。

By car: From Perugia or Foligno, exit at Santa Maria degli Angeli on Strada Statale 75 (SS 75) and follow signs to the centre of town. Before entering the town, there is an information office and next to the office is a street called Via Benedetto Croce. Turn into the street until Via San Pietro Campagna and the casa.
By train: Get off at Assisi and take the bus to the centre which stops by the Assisi Garden or walk to the casa (about a 10-minute walk).
