这座圣堂供奉仁慈圣母，建于1480年圣母玛利亚显灵给巴拉加扎的两位牧童——一男一女——之后。后来，这位女孩成为了一名修女（科妮莉亚修女），并向教堂捐赠了一幅安德烈·德拉·罗比亚创作的描绘圣母玛利亚怀抱圣婴的浮雕。17世纪，教堂在博洛尼亚建筑师安杰洛·文图罗利的指导下进行了扩建。教堂的正面设有门廊。
这家民宿设有16间双人房，最多可容纳32位客人，每间均配有私人浴室。毛巾和床单可根据要求提供。注：酒店仅在六月至九月中旬开放。冬季期间，酒店可为团体客人安排用餐。

By car: Exit at Roncobilaccio on highway A1 (between Bologna and Florence) and follow the signs to Baragazza and the shrine. By train: Get off at Prato or San Benedetto Val di Sambro and take a bus to Baragazza. Buses stop 2 km from the shrine except in August when they stop at the shrine. Note: Trains to Prato are much more frequent. San Benedetto is a local stop between Bologna and Florence.
