历史

The Religious Congregation of the "Convittrici del Bambin Gesù di San Severino Marche", one of the first sprouts of the one founded in Rome by Anna Moroni and P. Cosimo Berlinsani in 1671, was born by Margherita Teresa De Marchis who came from Rome at the request of Archdeacon Giambattista Beni.

Margherita Teresa De Marchis arrived in San Severino together with Laura Falischi and while she returned to Rome on 28 October 1696, Margherita Teresa remained in the Institute, according to what is written in her life, at the invitation of San Severino Vescovo, who appeared to her in a vision.

As Superior she directed the new Institute almost continuously until her death on March 16, 1714, with wisdom and zeal. She gave the work a character of strong spirituality, gave her sisters the shining example of her virtues and left a reputation for holiness.
