The monks produce Unguento Benedettino, a miraculous ointment which heals wounds and extracts splinters and other foreign objects from under the skin. The ointment is sold throughout Italy. They also produce a small quantity of olive oil.
Meals are not provided. Guests may obtain and prepare their own meals in a kitchen at their disposal.

By car: Exit Recco on Highway A12 and head towards Loreglia. After 1 km, turn left (there is a sign, Istituto di Rieducazione Cardiovascolare). Continue another 50 yards to signs on the right for the monastery. By train: Get off in Camogli. The monastery is a 1 km walk (uphill) from the train station. The monks suggest taking a taxi.
