The story begins back in 1894, with Don Giuseppe Baldo, a parish priest and a man in step with the times. In fact, one of the greatest merits of him was that of involving lay people in the pastoral care of the parish.
Founder of the Piccole Figlie di San Giuseppe and of the Suore della Carita` di Santa Maria, he served in the diocese of Verona, and took care of the poor and the elderly.
He was beatified on October the 31st, in 1989.
An Italian breakfast with sweet and savory delicacies is served every morning. During Spring and Summer you can enjoy breakfast on the panoramic terrace overlooking Rome. Those who book a long stay of at least 30 nights, will have discounted prices in some bars and cafeterias in the area.

The room was spacious, spotless, and very quiet—perfect for a good night’s rest. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The hostess’s were most gracious and helpful. The room is large, clean, with a very comfortable bed and a hot shower. Housekeeping was excellent. The only drawback is the breakfast. There is no protein or fruit whatsoever. Only sweets and two cereals. This is the only drawback. NoraD
