Villa San Giuseppe was a real find — quiet, easy to locate, and properly comfortable after a lot of moving around Italy. The room felt generous for a monastery guesthouse, more like a refuge than a hotel room, and we felt safe there the whole time. Close to transport too, which mattered given our schedule. Only downside was ours, not theirs, a flight change meant we had to cut the stay short and leave earlier in the day than planned so missed breakfast. Would happily stay again.

I have had a great time in a very welcoming environment. Everything was clean and tidy. And central Rome was just the throw of a stone from the place. If one is to have a piece of mind, then this is the place to be!

Villa San Giuseppe is located in the Monteverde neighborhood, well-connected by public transportation (bus, tram, and train).

Guests are provided with linens and towels. Each guest is provided with a set of keys that open the main door, the entrance door, and their room (to be returned upon check-out).

Upon arrival, you will be asked for identification.

Small secure parking lot (€5.00 per day).

From Rome Termini, take the bus to the San Camillo Hospital stop.

From Fiumicino Airport: Train to Termini, Trastevere station stop, then take buses 773, 774, 228, or 786 to the San Camillo Hospital stop.
