Clare College, Cambridge

Very helpful to have parking available for our car. Room was small and basically furnished. Although twin beds, they were in two separate rooms. En-suite shower-room was fine, clean. Breakfast, though not a wide choice, was all good quality with good service. Porters at the lodge we're most helpful.

We stayed for one night in December, the room was very large and clean. The accommodation was basic, which we expected, but in a good location and a beautiful, historic building. We enjoyed the short walk through Clare college into town. Breakfast was fresh and with a good amount of choice.

Everything was excellent except that the room was very cold and there was not enough coverage on the bed to stay warm during the night. I understand that it was too early in autumn to turn on the heating but an extra blanket for the bed would have made the nights much more comfortable

A wonderful experience from start to finish. To return to my old College and stay, not for the first time, but this time for a 50th anniversary reunion dinner of my year, 1973. It proved a deeply moving and delightful experience

Funny, I booked 2 rooms, they assigned me 4 rooms. Anyway, a very good experience, room are quite old ( but this was expected in a old college) but clean, large and comfortable,. Also, staff was very friendly.

Excellent value for money. The booking excellent . Mark the porter a great help and very friendly. The rooms very clean and basic . Whole thing an excellent experience. Clare College so central too.
