Historie

Vincenzo Pallotti was born on the 21st of April 1795 in Rome, to Pietro Paolo Pallotti and Maddalena De Rossi, in Via del Pellegrino. He was the third of ten children.

At an early age, little Vincenzo was helped by his parents and his spiritual father, Abbot Bernardino Fazzini. He was ordained a priest in the basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano on May 16, 1818.

On January 9, 1835, he was inspired by God to found the Union of the Catholic Apostolate, made up of priests, nuns and laity, to spread the Catholic faith throughout the world, to destroy evil and promote good.

Amazing place to stay and amazing views! The Sisters are so welcoming and sweet. The manager was lovely! We loved the chapel to spend some time in prayer before our day started. May God Bless all the Sisters and staff!

Magnificent view!!! Clean & welcoming, extremely quiet indoors, sisters are incredibly nice. Yet, too hot to sleep with no A\C (only ceiling fan) & only window was onlooking street (very noisy).

Those who are unable to check-in / check-out at the scheduled times must contact the property directly and inform the reception staff. BY TRAIN From the central station or from the Piazza Garibaldi station in Naples, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento with a stop in Piano di Sorrento. Just outside the Piano di Sorrento station, go all the way down Via della Stazione, at the end, turn right into Via San Michele, at the crossroads turn right into Via Carlo Amalfi, at the next crossroads turn right into Via delle Rose , when you reach the end of the road, turn right into Via Iomella Grande, which you follow to number 120 where the bed and breakfast is located on the right. The distance from the Piano di Sorrento station is about 1 km, which can be covered in about 15 minutes on foot. Another possibility is to book a transfer service from the Naples or Sorrento station. BY CAR From the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway, follow the Salerno / Reggio Calabria / Sorrento Peninsula and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Continue along the SS 145 state road towards Sorrento and pass the town of Meta once you arrive in Sant 'Agnello, before entering Piazza Matteotti, turn right, continue along Viale dei Pini and take the second turning on the right. You will find yourself in front of a church, turn left about 300 meters on your right you will find the structure. BY AIRPLANE From Naples "Capodichino" airport, take the "Curreri" bus and get off at the Sant’Agnello di Sorrento stop (Hotel Alpha) and continue on foot. The Domus San Vincenzo is located 200 meters from the stop. Another possibility to reach the house is to book the transfer service.
