3) Camping
Founded in 1162, it was inhabited by the Premonstratenses monks until 1835 when the religious suppression forced the order to abandon the monastery.
After thirty years of military occupation (1835-1865), the Philippine Province of the Augustine Order acquired the monastery and dedicated it to the education of missionaries destined to work in the Philippines. In 1926, the Spanish Augustine Province replaced the Philippine missionaries and turned the monastery into the headquarters of the Inter-Provincial Noviciate.

2) Youth hostel: Guests must supply their own meals.
3) Camping area: There is a kitchen which campers may use.

By car: From Burgos take highway 1 to Madrid, exit at Aranda de Duero and take route N122 east towards Soria about 18 kms to La Vid de Aranda.
By train: Get off at Aranda de Duero. There are local buses to La Vid leaving daily at 1:30 and 8:00 pm.
