Some of the major sights to see in Madrid would be the Royal Palace of Madrid. Which also has some beautiful gardens, the Sabatini Gardens offer a stunning view of the Palace, and you can then finish off with a stroll to the Plaza España for the perfect city view.
Visit the Templo de Debod which was built in the 2nd Century BCE in Egypt, the Egyptian Government donated it in the 20th Century, there is a park the temple is located in which is also very peaceful and lovely to visit with views of the countryside.
The Almudena Cathedral, which took 114 years to build, is a fantastic sight to see in Madrid.
The Plaza Mayor is a must see, located in which was once the center of Madrid and still the city's main square, the square is filled with shops and restaurants, and a statue of King Phillip III on a horse in the center surrounded by the incredibly beautiful architecture around the buildings.
There are lots of delicious brunch spots in Madrid, amongst many Restaurants, tapas bars and cafés too!
Travel
The best way to get around Madrid is by Metro. You can get to and from the Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) via the metro as well as getting into the City´s southern suburbs.
You can also travel via Bus or Taxi with many spots to catch it or hire a bike.
You can also travel by car, however due to the popular location there tends to be a lot of traffic so is not advised.
In the City of Madrid, you can walk around almost everywhere to get to all the popular spots in the main area.

-Eat the Menu del Día, one of the best ways to do lunch in Madrid.
-Go out for dinner in Madrid and try ‘’raciones’’ which is known as a shared plate of everything from Jamon Serrano to Fried Calamari.
