Casa Il Rosario, Rome

The room was basic like a dormitory (or a convent) and a GREAT value. Location was excellent. The electrical outlets worked fine and charged my iPhone every night. I liked the metal closet, for me it was very stylish. The desk clerks were personable and the night clerk helped me with my Italian. I could tell that the tile floor was washed every day. I rated breakfast four stars because the food was satisfactory but scrambled eggs would be nice. If in Rome I will try to stay here again.

Lovely, clean and friendly helpful staff so close to the central part of Rome. A bus (40) travelled from Termini Station past where I was staying right through to Vatican City; the place I most wanted to visit. The shared kitchen facilities outside of the breakfast sitting were less than I expected. I would have liked access to tap water in the shared kitchen, mugs for tea and coffee and some cutlery as well. There were small plastic cups and plastic cutlery but I found these inadequate.

We loved our stay at Casa Il Rosario. It is perfectly located to explore Rome and the neighbourhood has plenty of places to eat and drink and sit and people-watch. Our rooms was perfect (the shower stall was very small, but that's an observation, not a complaint), the breakfast was very good, and the reception friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed staying at a religious institution - it gave our visit to Rome some context and authenticity. We would definitely stay here again.

I HAD A VERY PLEASANT STAY AT CASA IL ROSARIO. THEY WERE SUPER FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING AND WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. THE LOCATION AND AREA WAS VERY CONVENIENT. I ATE BREAKFAST WHICH WAS FANTASTIC. I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION

It was 7 years ago that we stayed here before. Still a great place with a location for touring Rome. Staff are friendly. Rooms are large and comfortable. Beautiful courtyard and rooftop view. Less than 10 minutes walk to the Colosseum.

Excellent location within walking distance of all the historical sites. Very comfortable room and everyone was so welcoming. Breakfast was unexpected and excellent.
