Casa il Rosario ist Eigentum der Dominikanerinnen der Barmherzigkeit und bietet jedem, der die Ewige Stadt besuchen möchte, einen friedlichen Ort zum Ausruhen und Beten.

Das Anwesen befindet sich im historischen Zentrum von Rom, in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Termini, nur wenige Schritte vom Forum Romanum, der Piazza Venezia, dem Trevi-Brunnen und dem Kolosseum entfernt.
Casa il Rosario ist das ganze Jahr über geöffnet und bietet Unterkunft für Familien, Singles und Gruppen. Es bietet einen religiösen Tourismus, der auf den Werten der Gastfreundschaft und des spirituellen Dialogs basiert. Gäste müssen jeden Abend vor Mitternacht zum Anwesen zurückkehren.

Geschichte

The Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation was born in France, Sainville, in 1696, with a mission based on youth education, service to the sick and poor and service to parishes. Today the community is present in Asia, America, Africa and Europe, where the Congregation aims to help the needy of the modern world with its system of service to charity, following the values ​​of piety and charity, of the founder Marie Pouseppin.

Excellent value for money. The location is superb. You can walk to everything in ancient Rome. The convent workers were helpful and cheerful. The only negative aspects were a) the noise at night caused by the doors which are loud every time someone goes in or out of their room; and b) very loud geese (I think) squawked every night around 11pm, again a problem for light sleepers like myself. Otherwise, everything exceeded expectations!

We enjoyed our stay and found everything very clean, quiet and friendly. The breakfast was good and the woman who looked after it did a great job. We were glad that staff were able to help us in English without a problem. They arranged a taxi to pick us up when needed. Thank you.

Friendly and helpful staff, very quiet location only 15 minutes walk from Termini railway station so very central. Breakfast: continental - plenty of choice including fruit. I look forward to bringing a group here from my parish in England next year.

The stay at Il Rosario was exceptional. Staff were friendly, breakfast ample, room small (expected and therefore not surprised) and spotlessly clean. The location is superb. I will stay here again when I return to Rome.

From FCO-Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci airport: By taxi: the cost of regular taxis authorized by the Municipality is € 48 (taxis are white) all included day and night. By private taxi: the guesthouse can book a taxi service with the trusted drivers for € 45 (up to 4 people). By train: the “Leonardo Express” train arrives at the Termini station without intermediate stops. It takes about 30 minutes and leaves every half hour. The ticket costs € 14.

By bus: there are several bus companies operating from Fiumicino airport to Termini station.

From CIA-Ciampino airport: By taxi: the cost of regular taxis authorized by the Municipality is € 30 all inclusive day and night. By bus: there are several bus companies operating from Ciampino airport to Termini station. From Termini railway station: By taxi: the cost is € 10-15. By bus: take bus n ° 40 for two stops or n ° 64 for five stops and get off at the Nazionale / Quirinale stop which is 2-3 minutes walk from Casa Il Rosario.
