There are many places to visit and sights to see in the beautiful city of Burgos. 

You can have a guided tour of the Cathedral and historic center or take a visit to the Museum of Human Evolution.

You can take a walk along the Puente de San Pablo and you will find many statues to admire. 

You can go up the steps to el Mirador Castillo where you will get a panoramic view of the city of Burgos.

Travel 

Burgos Airport is located 5km from the city Centre. 

There is a rail route through the city, and there is also the option to use the AVE which is a high-speed train connecting to cities like Madrid in 84 minutes or Bilbao in 70 minutes. 

There is an International Bus Station located in the City Centre, it connects the city with nearly every region in Spain as well as a number of European cities. 

The City has a public bicycle rental System, Called Bicibur. There are many drop off and pick up points around the city, and over 100km of bicycle lanes in the city.

História de Burgos

Burgos, situada no norte da Espanha, é rica em igrejas e conventos antigos. Os três mais notáveis são a Catedral, o Mosteiro de Las Huelgas e o Mosteiro Cartuxo de Miraflores. Há também muitas igrejas, como San Esteban, San Gil, San Pedro e muitas outras estruturas arquitetônicas!

O Castillo de Burgos, um dos castelos mais antigos da Espanha, que fica no topo de uma colina no Parque de Castillo, sofreu muitos ataques e um ataque devastador em 1813 pelo exército de Napoleão, então agora restam apenas as ruínas das fundações originais do castelo e parte de sua estrutura.

A ponte mais famosa de Burgos é a Puente de San Pablo, construída no século XIII. A ponte é ladeada por estátuas de nobres castelhanos da Idade Média.

Há uma enorme importância histórica na cidade onde o herói espanhol El Cid nasceu, há muitos pontos turísticos ao redor do seu centro histórico.
