Loughborough has a total of 5 museums to explore full of exhibits reflecting its history, Charnwood Museum is the largest, Carillon and War Memorial is home to military memorabilia, among many others.

Loughborough Town Hall is an eye-catching building from the outside and is used as an entertainment venue and is Loughborough’s main theatre.
Across from the Town Hall, you will find the pedestrianised Market Place trading every Thursday and Saturday and can shop a range of things from fruit and vegetables to clothes and homewares, and you’ll even come across freshly prepared food.

You can walk around Loughborough Town as it is pedestrianised however, you can’t get everywhere.
You can get a Bus around town and the main provider is Kinchbus, there are also other services that can take you to surrounding areas.
The best way to get around Loughborough would be by car, if you are not already travelling by car there are many car hire companies available such as Enterprise, Hertz & Freeway.
The closest airport to Loughborough is East Midlands Airport (EMA) and is 7 miles away, you can get into the town by a Bus Service or from East Midlands Parkway railway station.
