Localizado no subúrbio de Chelsea, no centro de Londres, o Allen Hall é o seminário da Arquidiocese Católica Romana de Westminster.

O seminário conta com cerca de 45 homens em formação para o ministério como padres católicos. Ele segue a tradição dos Mártires de Douai, que deram suas vidas pela fé católica na Inglaterra.

História

Allen Hall was originally the home of Henry VIII’s Chancellor, St Thomas More. One of the trees in the orchard was planted by St Thomas in the 1500s and still flourishes today in the seminary garden, one of the largest and most peaceful gardens in Chelsea.

Please note that all single ensuite guest rooms are on the 3rd floor, there are single standard rooms on floors 1 and 2 with shared bathrooms.

There is no elevator.

A shared bathroom may be on the floor above or below your guest room.

There is a television in the lounge, but no TV in the bedrooms.

Great value. Tranquil environment. Less than 30 minutes walk from the South Kensington cultural offerings: museums, Royal Albert Hall etc
