Panoramica

La casa gode di una vista spettacolare sul lago Llangors e sul margine occidentale delle Black Mountains. È un luogo tranquillo e un paradiso per gli amanti della fauna selvatica, che possono ammirare la rara bellezza dei dintorni.

All'interno della casa principale, ci sono 6 camere doppie e 11 singole. Due camere al piano terra sono dotate di bagno privato e adatte ai disabili. Gli altri bagni sono in comune. Nel cottage adiacente, ci sono 2 camere doppie e 1 singola con bagno in comune.


Cibo & bevande

All meals are provided. It is possible to have B&B, half board and full board.

Towels and bed linens are provided. Inside the main house, there is a large comfortable lounge with views across Llangors Lake to the Black Mountain, a library, newly refurbished dining room with windows overlooking the lake, prayer crypt and chapel. Inside the cottage, there is a lounge that can also serve as a meeting room.

By car: From London take M4 to Newport and follow the signs to Abergavenny on A449 and A40. Leave Abergavenny on the A40 and pass through a village called Crickhowell. Keep on the A40 until the village of Bwlch. Follow the road through the village until the War Memorial and turn right at sign-posted Llangors. After the turn, the road narrows for about 200 yds. Turn left at sign-posted Pennorth. Follow the lane for about a mile until a sign saying Llangasty and Llangasty Church. Turn right and the Retreat House is about 400 yds down this lane on the left. By train: Public transport is difficult to Llangasty. However, there is a train from London-Paddington to Newport/Gwent (destination Swansea/Cardiff). Change at Newport for Abergavenny. Arrange with the House to be picked up there.
