The Monastery was built with the aim of offering hospitality to warriors, nobles and bourgeois belonging to the order of the Knights Templar. At the end of the 14th century it was transformed into a hostel to welcome and host all those pilgrims who, passing through the Via Flaminia, set out for the Holy Land.

Through a secret and skilful mixture of officinal herbs, work and prayer, the monks of San Biagio created the ideal conditions for these travelers to transform a lightning stay into a moment of purification and regeneration. After centuries and after a long and careful renovation, this suggestive historic residence has been restored to its former glory.
