Historia

Thanks to the coat of arms on the entrance door of the property, and to the frescoes in some areas of the structure, it was possible to trace its origins, dated back to 1380. For centuries, the house was owned by noble families, such as the the Amatucci family and the Rocchi family.

In 1947 the first community of Alcantarine Franciscan Sisters settled in the city of Assisi.

The first mission of the House was the reception of war orphans, but once this need was lost, it was transformed into the reception of the pilgrims who were looking for, and still are looking for a place of reflection, and refreshment of body and spirit.

In 1972 the house also became the seat of the novitiate.

The House offers a large dining room, and offers B&B, half board and full board treatments.

Meal times are as follows:

-Breakfast: 08.00 AM - 09.00 AM;
-Lunch: 01.00 PM;
-Dinner: 07.30 PM.
