La maison, annexée au couvent des sœurs Stimmatines, bénéficie d'un emplacement exceptionnel à seulement cinq minutes à pied du centre-ville. Elle offre une vue unique sur la vallée et le lac Trasimène.

68 lits répartis en dortoirs simples, doubles, triples et petits dortoirs (4 à 6 lits). Seules 7 chambres disposent d'une salle de bain privée.


Histoire

Trasimeno.The convent was built at the beginning of the 20th century by a wealthy man whose daughter had joined the order.The convent opened an orphanage which later became a boarding school. During WWII it was occupied by the Germans.Twenty years ago it was turned into a guest house.

Breakfast is offered with the lodging. Groups also have kitchen privileges at an additional cost (inquire when making reservation).

By train: Get off at Camucia/Cortona or Terontola/Cortona on the Florence/ Rome line.Take a public bus to the casa and ask to be dropped off by Casa Betania.The bus stop is very close to the institution.
