Histoire

John Baptist de La Salle was led to found a community of men who, enlightened by God and in communion with his salvific plan, joined together in order to respond to the needs of poor young people far from salvation.

Even today, any community of Brothers draws its fundamental motivations from this event.

The Brothers are inspired by the prayer of Jesus Christ: “Father, let them be one as you and I are one, that the world may believe that you sent me.” The community is a mediation of the consecration of the Brothers to God.

It is a community of faith where the Brothers share their experience of God, lived in daily commitments and listening to the Word of God, in personal and community prayer, in reading the signs of the times and discerning the God's will.

Restauration et Boissons

You can choose to have the meals prepared by the cook or to use the kitchen with free access, which is available to you in the cottage on the way to Compostela.

Catering is generally always provided from April to September.

At the beginning and end of the season, if the number of reservations is insufficient, they cannot offer meals. (Restaurants exist in the village).

The cook prepares a menu suitable for hikers: starter, meat, vegetables, cheese, dessert, wine

They can offer you a packed lunch for the next day when you leave the gite for Santiago de Compostela.

Dinner is served at 7 p.m. and breakfast between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. self-catering.
