Histoire

The Monastery has 600 years of history from the times the Jeronimo monks settled here, and then the Carthusian monks.

There has been monastic life here for 450 years, then there was an expulsion in 1836, the monastery became a semi ruin, used for farming. it has been restored in the past 40 years.

Now the property function as a B&B, with option to use of a kitchen and also to rent out spaces for retreats and weddings.

A very unique property with 4 different architectural styles, in the real Andalusia in the hills northeast of Seville, which is part of the Unesco Starlight Reserve, an ideal location for stargazing.

Breakfast is not included in the room's price and it's optional with self catering style, that can be offered to groups of minimum 6 people, if requested in advanced.

There are a very large lawn and several smaller gardens, lush vegetation and large trees offering shade in summer.

There are waterfalls 10 kms away, and nice country inns for meals. Also you may visit the Iron Ore mine, the liqueur museum and shop around in the local village.
