Visión general

The Abbey has a combination of the outstanding beauty of the landscape, a lively monastic environment and a rich heritage. Buckfast is one of the very few institutions in England that have been rebuilt for their original purpose after destruction by Henry VIII. The Monastery main guesthouse is situated in the monastery, hospitality is offered only to men for spiritual retreats. There are 17 single rooms, 10 of which have private baths. Guests are asked to participate in the Divine Office and Mass and take all meals with the monks. There are four renovated guesthouses available that are fully self-catering.
