The property has 50 beds in single, double and triple rooms, all with shared baths. Both men and women are welcome. Hospitality is offered primarily to groups carrying out spiritual activities. Families and individuals are hosted if rooms are available. The convent is just outside the small town of Amelia in a landscape of incredible beauty. Nestled in a solitary woodland, the monastery presents a memorable vision.
First built in the 14th century, it was enlarged in the 16th century with simple and harmonious structures including the main cloister and surrounding buildings. There is a prized wooden choir in the church, but the most important artwork is the Permanent Christmas Crib (Presepe Permanente), created in 1964 by Spanish artist Juan Marì Oliva.
Meals are not included. Guests may use a kitchen at their disposal. Towels and linens can be supplied upon request.
