Histoire

They can visit the gardens, have an infusion and enjoy the monastery's ceramics in your small shop. All work is carried out by the nuns since 1964 with a contemplative spirit to maintain a way of life empowered by the Spirit.

In prayer nuns follow the liturgical cycles and the Liturgy of the Hours. Its rhythm helps them to delve deeper into the mystery and following of Christ. In the peace of the Montserrat environment, and following the rhythm of nature, they learn to live the Gospel deeply, being open to the beats of the world.

With the work of they hands they earn them living through the beauty of ceramics, decorated candles, postcards..., but they also earn them living through reflection and thought, offering training with different courses in theology, personal growth, retreats... For them, in addition, the monastery's hospitality is an important part of they work. For this reason, they want to live open to everyone who knocks on they door, welcoming and sharing their search for faith and life, while offering them enriching spaces to stay.
